If you’re looking for a moto rally with some ADV fun that isn’t out west, good news. The Tennessee Motorcycles and Music Revival is returning for 2024.
To be clear: this isn’t just an adventure bike event. However, it’s going to be held at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, which most keen motorcyclists will recognize as the longtime home of the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championship. That means a facility with all sorts of potential, including hooligan-style flat track racing, minibike races, a spot for an old-school hillclimb and also some trail riding suitable for adventure bikes. Enduro trails are on the menu as well.
As this event is sponsored by Harley-Davidson, there’s going to be lots of cruisertastic stuff too—stuff like a burnout contest, a stunt show, even a custom machine showcase. Maybe not the thing that most ADVers want, but some of y’all might appreciate seeing that handiwork on display.
From this event’s start, music has been a big part of the fun. The lineup for the weekend hasn’t been announced yet—keep an eye out here. Expect classic southern rock, outlaw country, rock-and-roll… probably no EDM, no Chopin and no easy-listening jazz, if ya know what I mean.
There are various accommodation options at the Loretta Lynn ranch facility (including on-site camping) and in the nearby area, and there are various attendance options as well. Pay less for a day visit, pay more for the whole weekend. For more details on the whole affair, visit the event’s website here. And if you go, please let us know how it went when you’re safely home.
