Triumph’s big-bike-racing experiment went so well that now, we’re getting special-edition bikes to commemorate the success. Today, Triumph unveils the 2024 Tiger 900 Rally Aragon Edition and Tiger 900 GT Aragon Edition, which are inspired by Triumph’s win at the Baja Aragon race in July of 2022.

Win a race, get a special paint job, only available for a single year. Simple enough. Wonder if they are giving Cervantes a cut of the proceeds? Photo: Triumph

At that event, Triumph’s tame racing driver, Ivan Cervantes, won the 450-km race aboard a Tiger 900 Rally Pro, finishing an hour and six minutes ahead of the next-fastest rider. So, we get these commemorative bikes, with special paint. According to Triumph’s PR:

Both Tiger 900 Aragón editions deliver all the specification, technology, and capability that the market-leading Tiger 900 GT Pro and Rally Pro are known for. Their advanced performance, accompanied by two fresh new looks, preserves the ultimate feel of aggression and attitude, while also adding that race-ready edge.

The Tiger 900 Rally Aragón dons a triple color of Matte Phantom Black, Matte Graphite, and Crystal White, featuring distinct Racing Yellow accents paired seamlessly with Triumph Tiger and Aragón Edition detailing, as well as a new and unique twin color seat design.

The GT Aragón follows suit with Triumph Tiger and Aragón Edition detailing, in addition to a refreshing twin color seat design, but instead features a triple color scheme of Diablo Red, Matte Phantom Black, and Crystal White to echo a bold and elegant feel.

So, it looks like a one-off graphics kit run, but no mechanical changes to suspension (and certainly none to the engine. Both bikes have the same liquid-cooled triple that makes 64 lb-ft of torque at 7,250 rpm and 94 horsepower at 8,750 rpm. The GT version of the bike gets a 45mm Marzocchi cartridge fork, while the Rally version gets a Showa fork. Engine crash bars are standard on both models, and the Rally also has crash bars for the fuel tank included as standard. Pricing for the Rally model is $16,995 in the US, $19,795 in Canada. The GT version sells for $16,495 in the US, $18,895 in Canada. Expect the bikes in showrooms before August, 2023.
